Las Vegas

It was a little cloudy in California when I departed, but it was sunny in Arizona with temperatures over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The stadium around Phoenix, Arizona, where spring camp is in full swing, is full of festive atmosphere. There are also many people cheering around the long line to get autographs from the players and the setting where they are broadcasting sports at the spring camp site live. I went to Camelback Ranch to watch the Dodgers game, and the stadium was built very fresh from the lake entering the entrance. Even before the start of the game, spectators are waiting for players to come out of the Dodgers bullpen. I have a cup of coke on a pepperoni pizza, and the audience sits comfortably watching the game as if they were on a picnic in the outfield. It was not easy to find shade on this day because the weather was cloudless at over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Night games were held in Goodyear, not far away. There were many people who came to get tickets from the early hours. In the clean and well-made stadium, players and fans were hanging out and signing autographs. The atmosphere of the stadium here is like a family.

The city was unexpectedly modest in the hot sun and suffocating heat. This is what it was looked like when I first visited Las Vegas.
When I checked in the hotel, changed my clothes, and came out again around the time the dusk fell, I saw the brilliant lights turn into splendor one by one, making me think that this is why most people are visiting Las Vegas. If this first visit was in college after immigration, Vegas, which started with the start of the year-end vacation after a long meeting, is a visit during social life. It's been a while since I've been there. I didn't particularly like this place, I just wanted to forget about my work and go on a long drive. The drive, which had left before lunch, did not arrive until the dark evening. Many people were sightseeing because it was Christmas week. What's interesting is that there are noticeably many female tourists who take pictures with large cameras. On this day, the cold weather and the fierce wind that fell below 40 degrees Fahrenheit made me shrink, but I walked through the streets with people who diligently walks. It is a place that always looks different every time I come, so as I took turns, I wondered what it would look like the next time I visited.

Las Vegas is the place I always go to stop by at a stopover when I go other places. Not a big fan of the Las Vegas nightlife and casinos, I used to take a break at a hotel, but this time I stopped by the Las Vegas Raiders' home stadium, which was built vertically around a Vegas strip, where Kansas City won this year's Super Bowl. And the ball-like concert hall Sphere which has Taylor Swift and many other concerts, is full of lighting that is changing every moment. Not only football but also baseball's Oakland is said to be coming to Las Vegas. There are a lot of candidates for where to play for the time being starting next year, but due to a hasty decision, it could be in the newly built stadium of the minor league Las Vegas 51s ballpark that I visited a long time ago, which is where Oakland and the Brewers will be playing in this spring camp game. Tickets is expensive like a typical major league game. There is UNLV University close to Vegas Strip. It's my first visit, but the campus is relatively clean due to its short history. It's a famous university for sports, so it's easy to see players exercising early in the morning.
